Thorne from MSB Benfleet has acted for us since the beginning of 2012 . Our previous accountant was old fashioned, full of accountancy jargon and never readily available when we needed him and we have found Thorne and MSB Benfleet to be the complete opposite; exactly what we were looking for in an accountant.
The Directors here prefer plain English speaking, with direct and honest answers to questions; all of which Thorne has provided. Right from the beginning we have found him to be helpful, informative and communicative; with both senior management and employees. He has assisted in reducing our VAT liability and also completed a claim to the VAT office on our behalf to seek back all the previous VAT we could have claimed on fuel receipts since the Company started. Thorne has made sure our Company house submissions are completed correctly and on time and that our personal liabilities are also completed, with reminders on any tax that’s required to be paid. He was on hand when we were subject to a routine VAT inspection, especially because he convinced us to sign up to the fee protection service offered by them meaning that we saved vast amounts in fees to cover the investigation.
We have also had sound advice on reducing our tax liabilities and are paying less now than what we have ever done in previous years. He is always a stone’s throw away and we would have no hesitation in recommending the services that Thorne from MSB Benfleet provide.
